Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel has been a resident of Thailand for 33 years. He had initially moved to Thailand for B. Grimm R.O.P., the largest and oldest German Trading House. Later he joined Alucon p.l.c. as General Manager, now the largest Aluminum Packaging Company in Asia. 25 years ago he founded Staedtler (Thailand) Ltd., an affiliate of Staedtler Germany. In addition, he established two manufacturing plants in Thailand, producing and exporting quality products globally. Recently, he expanded the business on a regional scale by establishing a trading hub for the Group for serving the Asian markets better with localized products and services. Before coming to Thailand he had worked for PREUSSAG (now TUI), a large German Corporation.
Since 2011, Mr. Daniel has been the President of EABC (European Association for Business and Commerce), which is acting as the Thai European Chamber of Commerce. He is also on the Board of the EU Asian Business Council, which is representing European businesses in ASEAN. Mr. Daniel was President of the German Thai Chamber of Commerce and worked in six of their consecutive Boards. He holds a certificate from the Thai Institute of Directors. Rolf-Dieter Daniel follows the current BRAINFORCE Country Manager Peter Egli, who will join the Advisory Board of BRAINFORCE. Mr. Daniel will continue to strengthen the company’s presence in this still growing market.
